Innovative Community Participation
Get Involved. Build Skills. Connect With Your Community.
Why Is Innovative Community Participation Important?
Being active in your community boosts your confidence, wellbeing, and sense of belonging. It also helps you build life skills that support your personal growth in areas like:
• Education
• Employment
• Health
• Social connections
When you participate, you not only gain new opportunities but also help strengthen the wider community around you.
What Can It Help You Achieve?
Through innovative participation, you can:
• Learn new skills or build on your strengths
• Expand your social circle and meet new people
• Discover new opportunities, services, or supports
• Build confidence to live more independently
What Does It Look Like?
Here are some examples of what we offer at Seven Angels:
• Cooking Classes – Learn to cook, try new recipes, and build everyday skills (NDIS funded).
• Community Dinners & Food Relief – Free programs for individuals and families who need a warm meal or grocery support, with a focus on connection and care.
